By creating a PRISM account, users agree to use the platform for genuine student research, writing, projects, peer review and community participation.
Accounts
Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure and for providing accurate account information. PRISM may suspend accounts used for impersonation, harassment, spam, plagiarism or other serious violations.
Student work
Students retain ownership of work they create. By publishing on PRISM, students give PRISM permission to display and distribute that work through the website until it is removed. Authors are responsible for having the right to submit the material they publish.
Editorial decisions
PRISM may approve, request revision, reject, unpublish or remove work based on editorial standards, safety concerns, rights complaints or platform integrity.
Leadership
The 60-day threshold only unlocks an application. Leadership roles are selective, may have defined responsibilities and may be ended if a member stops participating or violates community standards.
No college affiliation or guarantee
PRISM is not a college admissions office and does not guarantee admission, scholarships, internships or other outcomes. Colleges decide independently how they evaluate extracurricular activity.
Changes
PRISM may update these terms as the platform develops. Material changes should be communicated to active users.
These launch terms are a practical baseline and should be reviewed before a large public rollout.
